1.10.2010 - Tony Romo’s Cleats
I started collecting Autographs when I was about 13 years old. I did as most young people that want autographs and got what ever I could signed. I have some of my old Check Stubs from a job that are signed by some great baseball players, to a megaphone, baseballs, footballs, basketballs, jersey’s, bats, cards, photos… You name it I have it signed (almost). My favorite autograph is anything I have of Deion Sanders. I really REALLY liked Deion growing up and have had the pleasure to meet him several times. He is always very nice and is a great person. My two favorite Deion’s are his College Football and Baseball jersey’s. He is the reason I wore #2 in baseball and it was awesome getting those signed (Pics will be up soon). I also have a Mickey Mantle that my Dad got for me that really means a lot to me. I will never let that one go! THANKS DAD!!
When I moved to the Dallas area in 2004 I thought that I had a good little collection of about 100 autographs… And now in 2010 I have almost 3000 autographs. I have been busy for the past few years trying to catch up to some of my great friends collections. Speaking of friends this hobby has brought me some really great ones. To all of the people in the autograph world that I hang out with Thank you for being so wonderful. The memories that I have with all of you will never be forgotten! I will put up some pictures soon.
Until later,
Gary
