It’s been a couple of months since I had my planting attack. Surprisingly, some of the flowers actually bloomed!
Like this beautiful purple dahlia — these have done incredible and I didn’t even think they would come up…
On the side of the house the red flowers are doing good too!
In the backyard and I went out on a limb and planted some elephant ears and caladiums — look what’s sprouting up now…
This elephant ear is about 12 inches — I planted 4 bulbs and they are all sprouting
I planted about 50 gladiolus bulbs and this is the first bloom! I planted yellow ones in the front and pink in the back… Next year I will plant them in a different spot because they are not very wind resistant, but I’m really happy to see that they have sprouted and are blooming!
This is the back yard flower bed – pretty soon it will be filled with pink blooms from the gladiolus! Also, my stargazer lillies have buds on them right now so they might be blooming by the time Lillian gets here!
That’s the update for now — I’m just glad to know that things are sprouting up!

Thanks for the sweet tribute to our sweet loveable “Little Bit”. I still cry and miss her and I guess I always will, just like all the furbabies in my life. They were all just like one of my children and have a special place in my heart. I have never met a furbaby I didn’t like, and most of them I liked more than people! I Love you Lindsey! MOM
