We didn’t catch anything on Friday 
but we sure had fun sitting by the lake casting out our lines, just hanging out.
I grew up by the lake and I missed living close to a lake when we were in Carrollton.
Just call me a water baby – my sign is Aquarius after all. 
It sure is nice to be able to drive a few minutes down the road and touch the water.
I also love living close enough to the country to be able to drive down a 2 lane road a few minutes from our house and see some incredible bluebonnets.
I’m definitely a city girl but a country girl at heart.
We stopped so I could take some pictures of our beautiful state flower – it’s just so unique.
