Last Friday we decided to venture to the ballpark. Yep, that’s right folks, at 7 months pregnant I waddled (isn’t that such a funny word?) my way into the ballpark to enjoy a game and some delicious food.
Here are some highlights from our incredible evening together.
We got there early… I love seeing little kids get autographs (these kids both had red hair and reminded me so much of Gary):
Gary’s jealous.
(really he’s not – This is a completely unrelated picture, but the look on his face makes it look like he is):
That’s my honey doing what he loves. He’s so cute and I love him so much.
OK, back to the pictures…. here’s Chone -
I don’t know why I laugh every time I see this picture, but I do.. it’s almost like the “gotta go” bathroom dance or the chicken dance.
I know, I know – He’s an incredible ballplayer so he can stand however he wants to:
There he is… the one and only:
Yep…. that’s right:
Look at this beautiful form… I’m not even a baseball expert and even I can appreciate a lovely swing like this:
Now onto our Rangers… we love our Josh:
Ofcourse Vlad is amazing:
And we always love Michael:
I didn’t get a picture of everyone – but we love our Rangers.
Now, here’s the fun pictures – these are the things I love about the ballpark.
Kettle corn:
Hot dogs sold by men in red-striped shirts. I can just smell them now. The entire ballpark smells like an incredibly delicious big hot dog. I didn’t enjoy one this fine evening (heart burn), but I will as soon as I can.
Yum (and this guy had a low, booming voice “Hot Dogs!”):
“Peanuts! Get your Peanuts!”:
I just like this picture below… the Ump strutting across the field:
And I always love funny pictures like this:
And this…. ” (think “jazz hands and a slide” for my fellow dancers out there).
I know he’s warming up, but it’s a funny picture.
Oh, wait – “Is that a sandwich?” I ask Gary in the middle of the 4th. I use my camera to zoom in and make sure it’s a sandwich and then show him the picture. ”Where did she get that?”
Clearly I’m pregnant… all I think about is food these days.
Of all our years at the ballpark I haven’t found the concession stand that sells these sandwiches… so if you know where it is please let me know. Thank you.
I love the picture below — precious girl 2 rows in front of us in her Daddy’s lap. (Not paying a lick of attention to the ball game but being just as cute as a bunny):
Ofcourse, I love RBI’s (and Homeruns, but this was not a homerun):
And the 7th inning stretch (because I needed it by this point) – Singing the old ballgame song:
It was fun. Great evening with a great win and my great husband!

Thanks for the birthday suggestions! Glad I’m not the only one who struggles with this! Haha..
I loved all your pictures in this post! We’re actually going to a game for my birthday (I think the game on the 24th) with both of our families, so I can’t wait! Bryan would totally live at the stadium if I let him!
