Well since there is nothing on tv I figured I would do a blog update… whatever happened to Thursday night tv anyway?…
Tuesday night Gary and I didn’t end up going fishing, but instead we gave the furbabydogs a treat and took them for a walk. It’s alot easier to go on a walk with the babies if we both go so that I can walk Daisy and Gary can walk Deucey (or viceversa). I’ve tried it on my own once and wound up completely tangled up in their leashes, laying on the ground laughing. Ok, maybe laying on the ground was an exaggeration. But, still… it was a funny sight to see…. I’m sure it looked like I was practicing acrobatics to anybody that drove by with my constant twirls and arm flings to keep the leashes from tangling. I’m not sure Daisy ever saw a leash or collar before we adopted her. Deucey is a good walker (if he’s not peeing on a mailbox) but Daisy is a mess. That sweet girl runs all over the place taking it all in. She runs, plays, sniffs and loves it all!
Today the weather has been so nice that I opened up the window while I worked today and Deucey sat right by the window and just sniffed the air for an hour. It’s so cute to see his ear fringe hair and his little wet nose twitching just taking in every morsel of air he can get.
I’ve been up to a few sewing projects lately — mainly just trying to finish up some things that have been on the backburner for a while.
I got a wild hair last night and went crazy – finished up a blanket and 3 pillows. By 9 o’clock I was worn out.
