Lindsey and I went to Big Cedar, in Branson Mo. this past weekend for a little get away and it was great!! We had so much fun driving there and hanging out. We got to see an old friend for a short bit and got to spend some great time together. It was wonderful not having to worry about anything but spending time with the Love of my life.
I do have to tell a couple of funny stories… On Sunday night our house sitter at home called me and said he was locked outside (in the 25 degree weather) of our house with no shoes and our little Deucey. All he did was go out so Deuce could use the restroom and oooopppsss the door locked. After we called the local PD to let them know what was going on and that there was not a person trying to break in our house, another friend of ours went to the house and got in. The other funny story is about one of Oklahoma’s finest… In McAlester, OK I was driving and came to a turn right before town and Lindsey said “do you see that cop up on the bridge?” and I said “No”.. but I didn’t think anything about it because I was driving with traffic a nice 75ish……. Well we come around the curve and there is about 6 cop cars with Red’s and Blue’s a going crazy!! I was a lucky winner of a nice gift certificate courtesy of Oklahoma State police! He was a really nice guy and walked up to the car and said “Well I guess you can see that they have us out here today pulling people over here>>”
Oh well there is no way I was going to let some meezly little ticket ruine our GREAT weekend of AWESOMENESS!!
Anywho.. Good times with my GREAT wife!
