Snow in February

The last time I remember it snowing in February was the year I turned 21 on my birthday. My birthday is Valentine’s day. I was living by myself in Lewisville in an apartment just a few doors down from my friend Jodi, I was in my Junior year at North Texas and Gary and I had just started dating. Gary was living in Tyler at the time and was working on the night we celebrated my birthday. So we (Jodi, me and a few friends) all drove up to Denton and visited a favorite spot of ours, Tavern, and on the way home it started snowing. I remember waking up the next morning and the ground was completely white… on Valentine’s Day. It was the first time in 21 years that it had ever snowed on Valentine’s Day.

Enough reminiscing… it snowed today… on February 11, 2010 and I had to snap a few pictures (maybe more than a few), but it was worth it.. everything looks so beautiful covered in snow and this was Daisy’s first encounter with snow!

Daisy loves it….

Deucey… is not quite so sure…

So… he does what boy dogs do…

It looks like we have some Lindsey and Deucey/Daisy tracks….

She looks so elegant here… she’s growing up so fast from a year ago when we got her.

Doesn’t he look SO good all dressed up? I love this man.

Look at these baby faces… so sweet.

Did somebody say treat? This sweet girl doesn’t miss a treat so she ran inside to see what Poppa had for her. :)

My favorite picture of the day:

Love this church behind our house, it’s so beautiful.

I loved the photos of the beautiful snow! We didn’t get that kind of snow! It was all mush mush and is melting as it hits the ground! Should have you in some of the movies and pictures! I miss your smiling face!
    Love,
    MOM
